Dear Candidate,
East Ward Community Primary School is seeking a passionate, skilled, and dedicated Class Teacher to lead teaching and learning within our specialist resourced provision, The Honey Pot. This 22-place provision caters for children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), primarily those with a diagnosis of Autism and/or Speech, Language and Communication Needs. Places are allocated through the Local Authority’s Special Educational Needs Team. The role will be a temporary position covering Maternity Leave.
East Ward Primary School is a good school which enables pupils to learn in a climate which motivates and engages.
The ideal teacher will have experience of working with children with Autism and/or speech, language and communication needs, or someone who is passionate about supporting those with special needs and disabilities and has a strong understanding of inclusive and adaptive teaching practices.
You must possess a willingness to participate in relevant training and development opportunities.
