Are you a passionate leader with the drive to make a lasting difference in young people’s lives? We are seeking an experienced Children’s Home Manager to take the helm of our 1-bed home in Prestwich, providing high-quality care and support for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is a rare opportunity to lead a small, specialist service where you’ll have the autonomy to shape the home, inspire your team, and create the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, support, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care
Ensure the home not only meets but exceeds Ofsted requirements
Create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children to flourish
Take responsibility for safeguarding and individual care planning
Build strong partnerships with families, professionals, and the wider community
Develop a positive culture where your team feel valued and inspired
About You
NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or working towards)
Proven experience managing or deputising in a children’s residential setting
Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks
Excellent communication and leadership skills with a people-focused approach
Resilient, motivated, and committed to improving children’s lives
