Bournville Primary School is looking for a dedicated nursery assistant to join our vibrant nursery team. You’ll be working alongside a highly skilled, passionate, and committed group of professionals within our wider Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) provision, delivering extraordinary learning experiences for our youngest learners.THE ROLEAs a nursery assistant, you will:• Support high-quality teaching and learning across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
• Collaborate with the nursery and preschool manager to plan and deliver engaging activities.
• Help create nurturing, stimulating environments where children feel safe, confident, and inspired to learn.
• Uphold the values of our school and trust, working closely with families and the wider school community.ABOUT YOU• Positive, flexible, and a great team player.
• Creative, innovative, and motivational in their approach.
• Calm, consistent, and resourceful, with a supportive nature.
• Passionate about working with children and helping them grow and thrive.• Experience supporting EYFS and SEND is desirable• Experience with speech and language, understanding of Makaton is desirable• Be proactive, energetic, and committed to engaging children in meaningful learning.
• Be patient, sensitive, and able to comfort children when needed.
• Understand the importance of safeguarding and inclusive practice.
