Then Little Hill Primary School is the place for you! We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team in the Foundation Stage (EYFS). This is a fixed-term position until 10th July 2026. The role will include supporting children in their learning and development, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The position is for 5 days per week, from 8:30am to 1:00pm (22.5 hours per week). This includes supporting our EYFS children at lunchtimes to ensure a safe, nurturing and positive mealtime experience. Knowledge of the EYFS age group, or previous nursery/early years experience, would be highly desirable.
We are looking for someone who: • Has a commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children. • Is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development. • Understands the importance of play-based learning and child-led exploration. • Can build positive relationships with children, staff and parents. • Is adaptable, patient and resilient when working with children with additional needs. • Can work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
