A forward-thinking and dynamic college is seeking a Conference and Business Hub Coordinator to join its Marketing Team. The college provides an excellent educational and training experience to over 4,500 students each year. The Marketing Department organises and hosts a diverse range of conferences and events throughout the year, set within a beautiful campus environment. Working closely with the Business Development Team, the department has developed strong employer partnerships which continue to grow.
About the roleThis position is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting business growth. Applications are welcomed from candidates with experience in events, business development, customer relations, hospitality, conferencing or marketing.
Key responsibilities:-
Develop, promote and oversee a wide range of events, including business meetings, large conferences, networking and community events.

Act as the main contact for all external conferencing bookings, including organising and delivering room hire and related activities.

Work alongside the Business Development Team to ensure conferencing activity supports the wider employer engagement strategy, targets new business, and strengthens strategic partnerships.

Ensure the conferencing offer is competitive, delivers value and quality, meets income targets, and aligns with the college's mission and vision.

Manage the customer relationship with the summer language school provider and coordinate all aspects of their visit, ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Recent and relevant experience in a similar role within hospitality, conferencing or marketing.

A Level 3 or equivalent qualification.

Strong commercial awareness and proven budget management skills.

Excellent communication and IT skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Self-motivation with a track record of successful partnership working.

Flexibility to work outside of standard hours in line with conferencing and college events.
