EYFS Teacher/ EYFS Phase Lead

The Headteacher and Governors are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS teacher/ EYFS Phase Lead at our happy and successful Infant school.
You will have at least 5 years teaching experience, a thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and KS1 National Curriculum and assessment, be passionate about young children’s learning, have current experience in leading a subject/area of responsibility and be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
All applicants must hold relevant teaching qualifications.

Hill View Infant Academy are seeking someone who:
Is an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to promote high standards of learning
Can assess and record progress of pupils’ learning to inform next steps and monitor progress
Can create stimulating and effective learning environments both indoors and outdoors
Can deploy a wide range of effective behaviour management strategies successfully
Can teach using a variety of strategies to maximise achievement for all pupils including those with special educational needs and high achievers
Has excellent interpersonal skills and can work as (and lead) a large team
Has a sound understanding of the delivery of a synthetic phonics programme and can work collaboratively with the Phonics lead
Can monitor teaching and learning across the school and inspire improvement
Can work alongside SLT to strategically support a dedicated group of staff
Can empower staff to deliver a high-quality play-based curriculum that achieves high standards
