Location: Aberdeen City Libraries
Duration: Casual - as and when required
Job Purpose:
Work as a member of the library network team to deliver high quality, customer focused library and learning services across Aberdeen.
Requirements
4 standard grades at a level 1-3 or equivalent including English and a Mathematics subject.
PVG Membership for regulated work with children and/or Adults or the willingness to obtain this before a formal offer of employment is made.
Ability to carry out the physical nature of duties; such as the movement of books and other resources between and onto shelves and floor walking.
Responsibilities
Cash handling
Presentation, promotion skills and delivery of outreach activities to a range of clients
Proactively assisting and supporting service users e.g. floor walking
Use of new technologies
