To support the surgical team by acting as the first assistant to the surgeon for robot-assisted surgical procedures. To support and deputise for the Team Leader, taking managerial, clinical and professional responsibility for a team of practitioners. To facilitate efficient and effective care and communication between the multi-disciplinary team and between surgical specialities. To support staff, ensuring the provision of high quality holistic patient care in the most efficient and safe manner in accordance with Divisional and Hospital policies and procedures.
