Practice operations Supervise daily operations and staff to ensure efficient practice functioning Oversee compliance with regulatory standards and health protocols Management of the premises, including health and safety aspects such as risk assessments and mandatory training Strategy, planning and practice development Implement strategies to enhance practice productivity and patient satisfaction. Oversee that the practice is up to date with primary care funding and contracts, and ensure that both clinical and administrative activity supports achievement of contractual targets Human resources Managing recruitment and retention of staff Developing, implementing and embedding an effective staff appraisal process Ensuring all staff have the appropriate level of training to ensure they are able to carry out their role effectively Financial Manage all financial aspects including practice accounts, budgeting, billing and financial reporting
