Schweizer Electronic AG has been developing, manufacturing, and distributing market leading products and services for rail safety since 1964. With four business areas of warning systems, railway automation, radio systems and innovation & digitalisation. They design and manufacture their systems in Switzerland and then distribute worldwide through their own subsidiary companies and sales partners.

The Role
Reporting to the CEO based in Switzerland, you will have full P & L responsibility for their wholly owned subsidiary business in the UK. Key responsibilities of the role include:
Developing and implementing the Commercial Strategy.
Instigate the customer acquisition process, including developing and executing complex negotiation strategies with well-defined success criteria and KPI’s.
To effectively manage and further develop a number of strategically important key accounts within the UK business.
To provide pro-active expertise, advice and governance on all New Bids, Tenders and Framework agreements.

Your profile
A professionally qualified Engineer, with extensive experience of highly regulated enviroments (e.g. Rail, Chemical, Infrastuture, Medical or Construction). In addition, you will be able to demonstrate skills and experience in the the following areas:

Commercial management of framework agreements and leading the commercial review process.
Planning and coordinating the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new accounts/markets.
Possess a strong financial acumen and experience in working to challenging but realistic sales targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a proven track record of quickly building credibility both internally and externally.
