I am a young at heart lady living in Eastbourne and I am looking for a kind and reliable self-employed support worker.
I have 3.5 hours per week available and would like 1 hour per week for a domestic call, this can be on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday after 4.00pm as I attend Milton Grange on those days. This would be to help with changing and remaking the bed dusting and hoovering.
I would like to use the other 2.5 hours on a Friday to access the community, may be go to the supermarket as I current do my shopping online, or just out for a drive and a coffee. I am equally happy just to sit and chat or do a crossword or any word puzzles with you.
I have various health conditions that impact my daily living, including Agoraphobia, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), Emphysema, Arthritis, Sciatica, Angina, Oedema - causing swelling in legs and cannot flex feet properly, chronic kidney disease - stage 3, Reflux / Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Transient Ischaemic Attacks (TIA). Small vessel vascular disease.
I do not have dementia or Alzheimer’s but have some small memory issues on occasion. Pulsating Tinnitus. Phlebitis. Gallbladder Stones, Hiatus Hernia, Gastritis, History of Heart Attack. I also have a history of anxiety, Depression / low mood and suffer with panic attacks but this is well managed at the moment.
I use a wheelchair when I go out so you would need to be able to lift this in and out of your car.
