Deputy Nurse Manager – Luxury Nursing Home - £55,000
A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Deputy Nurse Manager to join the management team of a luxury nursing home. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) who is passionate about delivering outstanding care, confident in leading a team, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults.
As Deputy Nurse Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Home Manager, providing clinical leadership, and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered. This position calls for someone with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to inspire and support colleagues in a positive, inclusive working environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC pin.
- Proven experience as a Deputy Nurse Manager in a Nursing Home setting
- Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of elderly care.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and delivering person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.
- Provide strong clinical leadership, mentoring and supporting nursing staff.
- Conduct regular resident assessments and ensure personalised care plans are in place.
- Monitor compliance with CQC regulations and best practice standards.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and supervision of the nursing team.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals.
- Contribute to quality assurance initiatives and continuous service improvement.
