Are you an experienced and proactive Repairs Supervisor with a background in property maintenance? We are looking for a dedicated leader to join our established team in the Welwyn Hertfordshire area. This is a great opportunity to drive high standards and ensure excellent customer service within a social housing environment.
Salary: Up to £44,000 + van, fuel card, and benefits
Location: Welwyn Hertfordshire areas
Type: Permanent, full-time
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:

  • Previous Supervisory Experience: You must have prior experience supervising a team in a domestic or social housing environment.
  • Trade Background: A strong background as a tradesperson, ideally with multi-trade skills (e.g., carpentry, plumbing, plastering).
  • Operational Leadership: The ability to lead a team of reactive maintenance operatives, allocate work daily, and conduct toolbox talks.
  • Project Coordination: Experience attending pre-inspection works, advising on job specifics, and ensuring multi-trade jobs are scheduled efficiently.
  • Communication: Strong ability to liaise with managers and clients to ensure satisfaction and respond effectively to variation requests.
  • Compliance: A solid understanding and enforcement of health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualifications, NVQ2, SSSTS
  • A full UK driving license.
  • Proven experience in property services, either as a tradesperson or a supervisor, specifically in reactive repairs.
