What You'll Be DoingAs a Roamer/Tramper HGV Driver, you'll be an essential part of our nationwide operation:

Collecting and delivering vehicles of all shapes and sizes, predominantly accident-damaged, using our modern salvage transporters.

Supporting multiple Operation Centres (with your home base in St Helens) - covering for holidays and periods of peak demand.

Staying out 3-4 nights per week (with overnight allowance included).

Carrying out vehicle checks, inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
This is a hands-on role that requires physical activity and a keen eye for detail - but in return, you'll enjoy a rewarding career with a market leader.
What we need from you:
- It's essential that you possess an HGV/LGV Licence, Class 1
- Current CPC
- A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations using a tachograph
- Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills
- Flexibility
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
- Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but isn't essential.
