Join our friendly and forward-thinking Community Learning Disability Team as an Assistant Psychologist, and become part of a service that puts inclusion, dignity, and holistic care at the heart of everything we do.
As an Assistant Psychologist, you’ll work under the supervision of qualified clinical psychologists to support assessment, intervention, and care planning for adults with learning disabilities. You'll be a key player in multidisciplinary work, contributing to person-centred support and promoting psychological wellbeing in a community setting.
Support psychological assessments and interventions
Contribute to the development of care plans and behaviour support strategies
Assist in delivering group and one-to-one therapeutic work Carry out audits, research projects, and service evaluations
Liaise with families, carers, and professionals across health and social care

To support and enhance the professional psychological care provided to the clients in the Hillingdon Community LD Team. Providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.
