Sous Chef – Beaulieu | £34,000

Join RA Venues at Beaulieu, one of the UK’s leading cultural and heritage destinations in the New Forest.

We’re looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality food and smooth kitchen operations. You’ll lead by example, help train the team, and ensure consistent standards in food preparation, safety, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef with menu creation and daily operations

  • Lead and develop the kitchen team

  • Maintain food quality, safety, and hygiene standards

  • Manage stock and assist with cost control

  • Take charge in the Head Chef’s absence

  • Adapt to dietary needs and client requests

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in high-end catering or a similar role

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene

  • Organised, adaptable, and team-oriented

  • Passionate about food and service
