Crynodeb
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our client based in the Haydock area. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a modern fleet of HGVs, ensuring vehicles are kept to a high standard of safety and reliability.
Salary is c£42-44,000 per annum plus overtime, holidays, pension etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards.
Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
Work efficiently to minimise downtime of vehicles.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
Proven experience working as an HGV Technician / Mechanic.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
