Why join us?
Lincoln Castle Academy is a medium-sized secondary academy located in the Cathedral City of Lincoln. Our location is within easy reach of the A15, making us easily accessible from across the county.
With over 700 students on roll, the academy is a busy and vibrant place. We are committed to nurturing talent in a safe, orderly, and stimulating learning environment. We believe every child matters and that by engaging fully in their learning, they will enjoy a successful and rewarding experience.
We are immensely proud to be celebrating our best-ever academic results, marking a period of significant progress and ambition. Building on this success, we are entering a transformative phase: plans are well underway for a brand-new, state-of-the-art, three-storey school building, designed to accommodate 900 students. Due to open in February 2028, the new facility will include a dedicated, purpose-built sports block, as well as brand-new specialist spaces for art, design, food technology, resistant materials, drama and music. A modern auditorium will host assemblies and performances, and students will benefit from excellent science laboratories and new IT equipment throughout the building. This exciting development will provide an exceptional environment for learning, creativity, and growth.
We place a strong emphasis on academic achievement and personal development. Our commitment to raising standards ensures that all students receive the support they need to thrive, regardless of their starting point. Lincoln Castle Academy is a happy and caring place of learning that serves both its pupils and the wider community.
Our staff are talented, enthusiastic, and dedicated to the academy’s continued success. We offer a staff rewards budget, regular social events, and access to a comprehensive benefits scheme. We also prioritise continuous professional development, recognising that staff and students achieve their best when they feel happy, valued, challenged, and supported. You will be joining a highly skilled and committed team.
