Inspire Young Minds – Join the Team at Purley Primary! Are you a passionate, forward-thinking educator who loves helping children grow, explore, and achieve their potential?

You’ll join a supportive, values-led school where every child can “learn to love and love to learn”.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to lead our mixed age Lower KS2 class (Year 3/4) for 3 days per week. You will be working in close partnership with another teacher, who will lead the class for the remaining 2 days.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in the core subjects.

• Collaborating with your job-share partner to plan engaging and meaningful foundation subject lessons.

• Leading on a curriculum subject, contributing to the wider development of our school.

We are looking for someone who:

• Values and promotes the nurturing ethos of our school.

• Can adapt teaching approaches to ensure that every child, including those with SEND, is supported to access learning fully.

• Inspires pupils to take pride in their work and experience success.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in a friendly, community-focused school.

At Purley, we embrace job shares and creative staffing solutions—all to put our pupils first. Come and see us in action—a visit before applying is the perfect way to experience our vibrant school community.
