Our Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join our team. This role is a wonderful mix of duties to keep each day fresh and exciting.
A Typical Day
You will spend your mornings conducting your ATA duties; supporting pupils to participate and engage in lessons and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups under the teacher's supervision.
Lunchtime means playtime! Your role includes midday supervisory assistant duties, you will ensure that our pupils safely enjoy their lunch and playtime.
On afternoons you will undertake your HLTA role which includes teaching duties, where you will deliver lessons across all four of our classes.
This role is ideal for ECT’s who are yet to secure a permanent role but wish to undertake teaching duties in a consistent pattern, or for teaching assistants who have completed a HLTA qualification and are ready to bridge the gap between an ATA and HLTA role by gaining experience in part-time HLTA responsibilities.
It is essential for candidates to hold a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification or have Qualified Teacher Status to enable them to deliver teaching and learning activities to a whole class.
