Hours of work: 35 hours per week, evening and day time hours to cover networking and managerial duties. About the role We have an amazing opportunity for a Team Manager to join our established Dartford Safe Haven Team. You will be working alongside and line managing Crisis Recovery workers and Peer Support Workers to provide crisis support to individuals attending the Safe Haven. Dartford Safe Haven is an out of hours mental health support service, running open access to any individuals in Dartford and the surrounding areas. We work with anyone experiencing a mental health crisis or heading towards a crisis. By providing emotional listening support, developing safety plans and liaising with other professionals, you can help make a difference to someone's life today! We are looking for an experienced, compassionate, well organised and qualified person to Manage a team and deliver high quality non clinical support to individuals in times of crisis. We deliver high quality, recovery focused support to individuals who have a range of mental health needs as well as other support needs including learning disabilities, physical health issues and substance misuse, whilst promoting independence and social inclusion. About you To be successful in this role, you will need to offer leadership experience, have good knowledge of mental health and the impact this has on people who access the service. You should be accountable, compassionate and proud in what you do working for mental health matters. Have experience of providing support to those in need and be able to think on your feet. Be qualified, organised and have exceptional communication skills. Advanced understanding of complex mental health needs and the ability to engage and network with other professionals is key. There also needs to be experience of leading and supervising a team and knowledge around delivering a safe and high quality service to those in need in an unpredictable environment.
