Part-time Inclusion Learning Support Assistant, Bristol Grade 6Fixed term from ASAP – 31st August 2026
15.5 hours per week: Monday to Wednesday 12 – 3.30pm, Thursday to Friday 1 – 3.30pm

We are a warm and welcoming infant school in Bristol, dedicated to providing a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all our children. Shooting Stars is our special needs class that is currently supporting four Key Stage 1 pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and developmental delays.
We are seeking an experienced, caring and enthusiastic inclusion LSA to join our dedicated team. You will work alongside an HLTA who leads the class and liaise with class teachers and the SENCo to support the children’s learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing.
Your role will involve:
• Providing 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Assisting with classroom activities and sensory-based learning
• Supporting children with personal care and emotional regulation
• Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals
The successful candidate will share our vision to enable, enrich and empower children and will be: • experienced in working with young children with special educational needs • patient, proactive, flexible, resilient and have a good sense of humour • able to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents • committed to safeguarding and ensuring the wellbeing and progress of children • able to uphold the school’s ethos and values He or she will join our dedicated and supportive team and will have sufficient relevant experience in order to work within the team with minimal training.
