Your new company
You will be joining an established and well-respected main contractor based in Nottingham operating within the water industry. This multi-accredited contractor has a strong pipeline of work with Severn Trent Water and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. With guaranteed work throughout AMP8, they are looking to strengthen their delivery teams.
This is a full-time site-based position (40 hours a week) covering the Severn Trent region, and you will be based on one site at a time.
Your new role
As Electrical Site Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day site operations for electrical installation works across wastewater projects
- Ensuring all electrical activities are carried out in accordance with designs, current legislation and H&S standards
- Supervising and coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
- Reviewing and interpreting drawings, plans and specifications
- Ensuring quality control procedures and followed and maintaining site documentation
- Monitoring progress against programme and ensuring timely delivery of electrical works.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you must have:
- Experience managing/supervising electrical installations in the water sector
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
- ECS card, First Aid at Work & SSSTS or SMSTS
- Full UK driving licence.
