  • Salary: £53,581.94 per year
    Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days a week (with on-call & 7-day cover rota)
    Qualifications: Essential C&G Electrical / HNC / HND or equivalent

Job Introduction

What You’ll Do:

  • Act asLV and HV Authorised Personfor the site
  • Lead and manage your team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities
  • Oversee day-to-day electrical operations, including planned preventative maintenance (PPM), statutory, routine, and reactive work
  • Allocate and manage workloads using CAFM systems, ensuring timely completion to contractual KPIs
  • Supervise specialist contractors and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and provide updates on compliance, performance, and PPM effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date with industry legislation, technological changes, and best practices

What You Bring:

  • The ideal candidate will hold aC&G Electrical qualification, HNC, HND, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in electrical supervision within a complex environment.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, includingdistribution, lighting, fire detection, building automation, standby generators, security systems, CCTV, nurse call, HVAC, and data communications.
  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fault diagnosis, and reactive maintenance is essential.
  • Be able to demonstrate the ability to lead, coordinate, and develop a team, manage workloads, and ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and statutory regulations.
  • Excellentattention to detail, numeracy, record-keeping,and problem-solving skills are also required, alongside the ability to act on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
