Role: Events Assistant
Responsible to: Event Manager / Managing Director
Reporting to: Events Manager
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Support event directors/managers across all key event functions
- Supporting the events manager/team with administrative support
- Undertake basic office tasks (respond to queries, calls, general emails)
- Attend meetings as and when required to assist with event planning
- Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through to completion
Our ideal candidate:
- Personable and presentable
- A strong willingness toward work, being flexible and ability to maintain an optimistic attitude.
- A strong team player, you value the input of others and recognise the part you play.
- Eager to contribute new ideas.
- Creative and used to thinking outside the box.
- Excellent communicator.
- Previous experience in mass participation events is a distinct advantage.
- Educated to A-Level standard. A degree is desirable, but not essential.
Skills & Competencies
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and competencies:
- I.T. skills and strong internet research abilities with the use of Microsoft applications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Task and deadline prioritisation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills desirable.
- A strong work ethic and ability to work independently as well as being comfortable with working weekends and on-site with early starts.
- Full driving license is essential.
- Passionate about events and running.
