Full Job Description
A full-time opportunity has become available for a Business Support Administrator
The role of Business Support Administrator is to provide a comprehensive and high standard of administration support to the Insolvency Practice and to the directors
This includes general administration tasks such as answering the telephone, printing and preparing documents and dealing with the varied daily requests as they arise.
The ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English is essential for the post.
The successful candidate will have:
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Customer services knowledge
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting procedures such as bookkeeping and other general financial procedures (useful but not essential)
• Proven experience in a related role such as Office Assistant, Receptionist or other relevant position
• Knowledge of computer programs used in daily office administration functions such as word processors, spreadsheets and specialised office management tools
• Proficiency in filing and paper management, including the ability to manage business correspondence and the ability to handle confidential information
• Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to research and an aptitude for helping other people
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintaining clients’ records
Acting on and liaising with managers and other staff members, resolving customer queries
Representing the company with a positive attitude and professional appearance.
Answering, screening and forwarding any incoming phone calls and ensuring an accurate message is conveyed to internal staff
Maintain building security by following procedures and controlling building access and monitoring the visitor log sheet
Greet and welcome visitors, direction them to the appropriate person/area of the property and announcing them appropriately.
Receive daily mail/deliveries/couriers and ensure the relevant person get the items.
Manage the calendars e.g. schedule meetings and/or appointments when requested
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable at all times
Provide ongoing administration support to the management team.
Your experience may include:
• Previous exposure to an office environment
• Administration and/or data entry skills
• Great attention to detail and organisation skills
• Able to work individually and as part of a team
