The Defence Water Services Programme (DWSP) is procuring a £1.2bn contract to provide water and wastewater services to Service Personnel, their families, the people who live, work and train on the Defence Estate as well as its 5000+ private customers, while meeting the environmental challenges into the middle of the century and beyond.
The role holder, working with a diverse customer base, across numerous TLBs supporting the Defence Estate across Great Britain, will provide commercial leadership in the designing and procuring of the DWSP, ensuring full compliance with the new Procurement Act.
The roles will work across pre-sourcing, and sourcing. You will help design the new solutions in the sourcing environment, focusing on building and leading a Competitive Flexible Procurement that provides a Value for Money solution in a complex and diverse area.
As well as the DWSP, there will be opportunities to develop solutions as various DIO-managed PFIs come to a close, including undertaking Market Analysis and Engagement, and supporting the development of the Commercial Strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in high-value complex procurements and looking to develop new skills and knowledge in the pre-sourcing and sourcing arenas.
Why Join us:
Joining our team means working on-line and on-site in a Hybrid working pattern with a diverse, committed, and energetic team who all bring different skills and experience, creating an environment of continuous learning. These are diverse roles, which will draw on, and develop both your Commercial and leadership skills.
These are unique, exciting and emerging roles, within a newly established team, which will allow you to build on your core commercial experience.
