Millison Chase Limited is looking for experienced HGV C+E drivers to work with our client, Our client is a larger family owned haulage company and pallet network operator looking fulltime HGV Class 1 drivers to join their expanding team.
Job Description:
This is a temporary ongoing role for a HGV C +E (Class 1) Driver at Millison Chase Limited located in our client’s depot,
As a HGV C+E Driver you will be responsible for daily deliveries / collections, ensuring the safe transportation of goods and maintaining accurate records of delivery schedules.
Shifts can be long but are in keeping with in law and legislation.
The job itself will consist of delivering various loads with use of a articulated curtain sided lorry business to business on varied routes, Hand ball will not be required internal strapping must be used on every load.
Qualifications
Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) license
Experience with daily deliveries and transportation of goods
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations
Excellent communication and time management skills
UK CPC card
UK digi Card
No more than 6 penalty points and only SP codes allowed
1 year driving experience for insurance Purposes
Nights out Required (3 to 4 per week)
Pay
Days Mon to fri £16.00 per hour
Weekends £18.50 per hour
Night out allowance £25 per night out
This is equivalent to between £19.05 & £20.17 pay when you factor in holiday pay
