Join us as a Network Infrastructure Engineer
- You’ll collaborate in building the best possible enterprise network solutions and engineer infrastructure technology to comply with security, resilience, sustainability, and operational requirements with observability and guardrails built in

What you'll do
As a Network Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll contribute to and manage the selection, creation and maintenance of technologies required to meet the needs of our customers, strategic targets and architecture outcomes, along with developing products using modern engineering practices and tools.
We’ll look to you to collaborate with Product Owners to develop product roadmaps and manage the lifecycle of the team's products and support engineered products to respond to customer feedback, new feature requests, resolve production issues and help customers consume our products.
You’ll also lead VXLAN deployments and ensure seamless integration across data centre fabrics. We’ll also look to you to conduct technical peer reviews of network changes and deployments to ensure quality and consistency along with proactively contributing improvement ideas, as well as challenging and reviewing designs, solutions and architectural decisions.
Additionally, you’ll:
- Take a lead role within the team to design and engineer intuitive, self-service infrastructure products
- Lead in the development of standards for the network infrastructure
- Develop technical skills through continuous learning and development
- Contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions
- Build an awareness of design thinking tools and techniques with users in order to improve your product
- Provide operational support for pattern or product related issues
- Work with key vendors in the delivery of the infrastructure services and technology for the product
The skills you'll need
We’re looking for someone with hands-on experience managing large enterprise network environments with 10,000+ devices. We’ll expect you to have proven design, implementation, and management of enterprise-grade networks using Cisco and Arista platforms with experience including, Arista Fabric with VxLAN on-prem deployment, Traditional Cisco enterprise deployment and extensive knowledge of layer 2 and 3 protocols to build scalable and resilient networks such as STP, OSPF, BGP, VxLAN, EVPN.
We’ll expect you to have in depth knowledge and experience working in financial services environments, designing, deploying and troubleshooting multicast market data delivery platforms across both Cisco and Arista (VxLAN) platforms.
Furthermore, you’ll have:
- Experience working in financial services environment on trader voice infrastructure
- The ability to work in high pressure environments, specifically responding to and leading on business impacting incidents.
- Strong collaboration skills with a mindset for continuous improvement, peer feedback, and technical leadership
- Experience working in an agile manner on both operations and projects along with the ability to work on your own and drive your own workstack as part of a larger team.
- Strong collaborative communication skills for articulating technical concepts clearly to business and technical stakeholders
