Be Part of Something Fresh Caf & Housekeeping Role in a Stunning Estate Location!Were looking for a friendly and reliable Hospitality General Assistant to join the team at our brand-new Coal Shed Caf, located on the beautiful Ardtornish Estate.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique food and hospitality experience that celebrates fresh, local produce and sustainable practices.
In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll work in the café during the open season, and support our housekeeping team during our short winter closure. On-site accommodation is available if needed.
As a Hospitality General Assistant, you will:
- Be the welcoming face of the Coal Shed Café
- Serve customers with warmth and professionalism
- Take orders, serve food and drinks, and carry out kitchen porter tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and stock across the café
- Share our “estate to plate” ethos with customers
- Work 5 days a week (including weekends), with occasional evening events
During December & January, when the café closes for maintenance, you’ll work with our housekeeping team on changeovers for our self-catering accommodation.
Housekeeping Duties Include:
- Cleaning and preparing guest accommodation
- Changing bed linens and towels
- Ensuring high standards of cleanliness
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
