Through our vision, we strive for excellence in all we do,working together as a happy community where children develop a life-long love of learning. Each child is valued and encouraged and staff work in partnership with parents, offering a welcoming, safe, nurturing and inspiring environment to all.
Our school has a happy family atmosphere where children and staff enjoy working together. We currently have 86 pupils on roll divided into 4 mixed aged classes. The majority of our pupils come from the village but a significant number of our children live in the surrounding district. The school is extremely lucky to be set within its own attractive grounds with a playground, sports field and a reflective garden. We are also within easy walking distance of the Oakfrith woods, the local church and village; all providing exciting opportunities for stimulating, active learning.

Visits out of school are encouraged to enhance and extend the work in school and there are opportunities for all children to attend residential visits.
