We are looking for an experienced food technology specialist to lead our highly committed Technology Faculty. At Key Stage 3 Technology operates on a carousel system. All students study a minimum of three of the following subjects: Textiles, Food, Product Design and Ceramics. They also enjoy two fortnightly lessons in Art and Design. At Key Stage 4, we offer: Food Preparation and Nutrition, 3D Design, Textile Design and Art, Craft and Design (Pearson). Technology, especially Food Preparation and Nutrition, remains a consistently popular options choice and resources are first class. They include 2 specialist food rooms, a design classroom, a ceramics studio with 2 kilns and 3 art studios.
The successful candidate will be required to teach Food Technology up to and including G.C.S.E.
