Location: Kingston Hospital
Salary: Band 7
Hours: 37.5 (part time – at least 30 hours/week will be considered)

Main Duties
As the Lead Physiotherapist on the Acute Stroke Unit, you would be responsible for planning, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating the physiotherapy stroke service. There would be an expectation that you will manage this team on a day to day basis, which includes a static Band 6 Physiotherapist, a rotational Band 5 Physiotherapist and a part-time Physio Assistant, providing clinical supervision, appraisals and teaching. You will need to carry out performance and absence management as required.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate extensive experience at Band 6 or 7 level of working within stroke and ideally other neurological services. Time spent in an acute environment and a working knowledge of the current National Stroke Guidelines is essential.
If you are a highly motivated, enthusiastic and proactive individual who has a passion for acute stroke care, excellent team working and leadership skills then we would love to hear from you.
