The Milford Academy is a Single Academy Trust (SAT) Primary School situated in Clifton on the outskirts of Nottingham. The school has approximately 455 children on roll including a Nursery unit and from September 2025 a SEN Unit. This is an exciting time at the academy as the school pushes forward with its ambitious development plans.
We are seeking a friendly, professional and highly organised School Receptionist to be the first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors. This is a key role at the heart of the school, supporting our welcoming environment and ensuring the smooth running of our busy office and school.
The role will involve (Please see Job Description for more details) –
• Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents and children, ensuring a warm and professional welcome.
• Managing telephone and email enquiries in a timely and helpful manner.
• Undertaking general administrative tasks to support the school office.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
• Supporting the safeguarding of children through visitor checks and following school procedures.Person Specification We are looking for someone who is: • Approachable, friendly and professional at all times.
• Highly organised, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy school environment.
• Competent in the use of IT systems (experience with school systems such as SIMS/Arbor would be an advantage, but training will be provided).
