Crynodeb
Ensure own technical standards of the modality are up to date and evidence based, attend relevant courses, clinical meetings, study days and show evidence of Continued Professional Development. Fulfil mandatory training requirements, in-service and staff development training and take part in the annual appraisal system. Maintain an active Continuous Professional Development portfolio. Ensure a high standard of professionalism and patient care within their work area. This includes appropriate communication with patients providing reassurance and obtaining the patients confidence and co-operation to obtain the required diagnostic images. Undertake audits as part of the Departmental and Trust Governance and Audit programmes. Take part in research imaging when required as a means of service development and improvement. Act as a resource for developing new imaging techniques and adapting these to the needs of the clinician. Comply with all relevant Trust policies and procedures.To promote good relationships in their dealings with other departments, hospital staff, patients and the public.
