Blow Moulding Machine Operator | Birkenhead | Full Time | Alternating shifts: 06:00–14:00 or 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday | £30,000-£35,000 per annum
Our client is a privately-owned company specialising in the production and supply of household laundry and cleaning products. They supply several national and international customers with their own brand of laundry and cleaning products.
They have laboratory, blending, and packing facilities at their Birkenhead premises to produce their household, laundry, and cleaning products. They develop, scale up, and produce all their formulations in-house.
They develop their own formulations for products to match briefs from their customers; these are blended and packaged at their manufacturing facilities in Birkenhead.
They are looking for a full-time Blow Moulding Machine Operator to join their expanding technical team.
Are you the right person for the job?
• Previous experience operating stretch blow moulding machinery
• Understanding of mechanical concepts and a willingness to develop technical skills
• FLT licence preferred
What will your role look like?
• Set up, operate, and monitor Two-Stage Stretch Blow Mould Machines (SMI rotatory type)
• Perform mould changeovers and install accessories as needed
• Conduct routine quality checks and basic maintenance
• Manage preform process parameters and coordinate with the Operations Manager
• Record machine parameters, maintenance activities, and production outputs
• Identify and resolve machine malfunctions or product defects
• Follow strict health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
