Business Support Officer

Fixed term until 3 November 2026 for maternity leave cover.

Salary: £34,606.00 to £43,123.00 per annum (dependent on skills and experience), subject to job evaluation.

Location: This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh office. However, hybrid working is available with this role.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Meeting cover on Tuesday up to 6.30pm may be required on a bi-monthly basis

Alternative working patterns and/or working arrangements will be considered.

The Role

Link to looking for a Business Support Officer who will provide confidential executive and administrative services to the Link Group Director of Finance and Business Services and Head of Finance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of Board services to the Link Group Board, Finance and Treasury Committee and other short-life Committees/Group as determined by the Link Group Board.

The postholder will play a key role in coordinating and managing key functions on behalf of the Finance Directorate. This will include a range of treasury and funder administrative tasks, administration of the group credit card system, act as the Super User for Allpay and KeyIVR systems, and coordination of the external audit programme.

About You
With a good standard of general education including Maths and English, you will have experience of working in a similar role and supporting and representing senior staff within a professional and confidential environment.

The role requires essential experience in writing and presenting corporate communications and documentation as well as proven minute taking skills and experience of supporting a Board.

Accomplished time management skills and the ability to prioritise, track deadlines and plan effectively is essential for the role. Strong communication skills working with a range of different people from across the business is a must.

Experience in supporting finance team functions and in treasury/funder administration is preferred.
