We are seeking a passionate and skilled Head Chef to join our team at Quantum Care. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations, ensuring the preparation of nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Your leadership will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of food quality and service.
Responsibilities
• Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs of residents while considering dietary restrictions.
• Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Maintain inventory control and manage food costs effectively.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times.
• Collaborate with care staff to understand residents’ preferences and dietary requirements.
• Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold high standards.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role.
• Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating nutritious meals.
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen operations.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff across various departments.
