Customer Service Advisor & Trade Support Assistant who is organised, driven and dedicated with great communication and administration skills is required for a well-established and growing manufacturing designer and retail company based in Par, Cornwall, South West England.

FULL PRODUCT TRAINING PROVIDED


SALARY: £27,000 per annum + Benefits

LOCATION: Par, Cornwall, South West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday - 40 hours a week, between the hours of 9:00am and 5:30pm

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Customer Service Advisor / Trade Support Assistant who is organised, smart and dedicated with great communication and administration skills.

Working as a Customer Service Advisor / Trade Support Assistant you'll be the first friendly voice customers hear. You'll answer incoming calls and enquiries, helping them with whatever they need.

As the Customer Service Advisor / Trade Support Assistant you will be a real team player who's passionate about delivering brilliant customer service. You'll be comfortable using computers to ensure customers receive top-quality products and fantastic service every time.

DUTIES

Your duties as a Customer Service Advisor / Trade Support Assistant include:

• Customer Support: Respond promptly and professionally to all customer enquiries and concerns via email, phone, and online chat

• Daily Enquiries: Handle a range of daily customer requests, including providing product and stock information, quotes, and helping with sales orders, engraving, returns, replacements, and complaints

• Customer Satisfaction: Listen, identify and understand customers' needs to ensure their satisfaction, always keeping the customer's journey in mind

• Resolving Issues: Manage customer complaints, offering suitable solutions and alternatives within set SLA timeframes, and follow up to ensure a satisfactory resolution

• Service Improvement: Use customer feedback to help improve products and services, passing on insights to various departments

• Proactive Monitoring: Monitor products on the website and social media to ensure the best possible customer experience from browsing to buying

• Order Tracking: Proactively track all orders using courier dashboards to prevent delivery problems, updating spreadsheets daily and keeping customers informed

• Database Management: Keep the customer database (CRM) accurate and up to date

• Telephone Communication: This role involves a mix of incoming and outgoing calls, so you must be comfortable speaking on the phone

• Training and Development: Full training will be provided before the start of the role, with ongoing support given throughout, as you will be at the forefront of communication with clients.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in trade support, Customer services or a similar administrative role (preferred but not essential)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation

• Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams

• A passion for learning and improving your product knowledge to assist you and our customers

• Take pride in your work and enjoy being part of a very busy committed team

• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Polite and friendly, whilst being driven to succeed and deliver

• A proactive and problem-solving mindset

• Previous experience of using CRM database communication notes / appointment call follow up

• Able to work under pressure to deadlines, targets and KPI’s

• Willingness to undertake training modules set out by the company
