Location: Gosport, Hampshire.
Hours: 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Flexible and remote working options available.
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
What will you be responsible for?
Within this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and supervision of the Electrical service across Housing Maintenance and Corporate Services within the Gosport area. As part of a busy team, you will manage and supervise the team of Technicians to ensure they deliver the service in accordance with Company Policy and provide day to day management and supervision and support.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Provide direct management, day to day support and supervision of the Technicians and other staff, ensuring Company policy and external regulations are adhered to,
-Carry out Quality Control's in accordance with NICEIC requirements and Kier's policy,
-Work in partnership with the Contact Centre Team, to help record the flow of work through the scheduling system and anticipate levels of demand, or alterations,
-Participate in regular site visits to carry out site inspections and sign off contractors' work and liaise with the Performance Manager on quality and complaints as appropriate,
-Investigate complaints as appropriate in liaison with the Performance Manager, check property history records and prepare detailed reports for management as required,
-Ensure that all relevant tenancy, property risk and any corporate building information is conveyed to Technicians and contractors prior to their attendance, to safeguard both them and the service user.
What are we looking for?
This role of Electrical Manager is great for you if you have:
-Proven experience within a similar role at Supervisor or Management level,
-A Level 3 NVQ qualification (or equivalent) in Electrotechnical Services,
-A Level 3 qualification in Periodic Inspection, testing & certification,
-Ability to read Construction Drawings,
-Experience of reporting and managing budgets effectively.
