Role of the Supply Chain Governance Team (SCG)
The SCG function provides Director Joint Support (DJS) with assurance and governance of the coherent, efficient, and effective integration and delivery of the supply chain functions that are required to deliver operational level support to Defence at an appropriate level of resilience against commitments.
Supply Chain Governance – Governance Team
The Governance Team provides Director Joint Support with End to End (E2E) Supply Chain Governance covering, Assurance Risk and Performance ensuring the integrity, compliance, and efficiency of supply chain operations. This team ensures transparency, monitors supplier relationships, assess risks related to geopolitical factors, environmental impact, and cyber security threats, and implement strategies for resilience and sustainability. Additionally, they oversee audits and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise cost, quality, and delivery performance.
