Hours of work: 37.5

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract | 9 months

We are looking for a P&C Manager to join our supportive and open team on a 9-month fixed-term contract.

Job Description

In this role, you’ll work closely with managers to advise on people practices, helping to build and maintain positive working relationships across both individuals and teams.

With a strong focus on employee relations, smaller restructures, and general P&C advice, you’ll have exposure to a wide range of issues and stakeholders, making every day varied and engaging.

You’ll also partner with our Centres of Expertise to embed People Solutions within your business area, supporting change management, annual cycles, and centrally driven initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Provide policy and procedure guidance, coaching managers to reduce risk
Lead ER case management, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries
Support restructures and TUPE processes with Centres of Excellence
Liaise with unions in collaboration with ER specialists where required
Implement and embed people solutions and P&C initiatives
Guide managers through hearings and complex employee relations matters
Ensure adherence to best practice and consistent application of policies

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Proven management experience with strong people leadership skills
Expert in employee relations as a core strength
Skilled in change management and supporting organisational transitions
Strong character with resilience and confidence
Balances hard work with a positive attitude and a good sense of humour
Flexible on sector or industry background
Able to engage, influence, and manage teams effectively
