Your Role as a Graduate SEN Teaching AssistantIn this role, you will:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional needs

Work collaboratively with class teachers and the school SENCO to differentiate resources and activities

Support children’s emotional wellbeing by building positive, trusting relationships
-
Assist in tracking progress and planning targeted interventions
-
Help create an encouraging environment that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning
Who This Role is Perfect ForThis role is ideal for graduates who:

Hold a 2:1 degree or above in Psychology, Education, English, Maths, or a related field

Are genuinely passionate about supporting children with additional needs

Are calm, patient, and empathetic in their approach

Have strong communication and teamwork skills

May have previous experience working with children or young people (e.g. mentoring, tutoring, youth work, or volunteering)
