Salary: £39,500–£43,600

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join a supportive hospital team specialising in complex mental health conditions. This full-time role (40 hours per week) offers a rotation of day and night shifts, providing variety and the chance to develop valuable clinical experience.

What We’re Looking For
- Mental Health Nurse qualification and a valid UK NMC Pin
- Post-qualification experience in mental health care (hospital or inpatient setting preferred).
- Strong clinical skills in risk assessment, crisis management, and care planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
- Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- A genuine passion for supporting people with complex mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and effective care for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Complete comprehensive assessments, create and review care plans, and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications in line with NMC standards, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Build therapeutic relationships that support recovery and wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to ward handovers and care reviews.
- Promote a safe and structured environment for patients and colleagues.
- Take part in training, supervision, and quality improvement initiatives.
