We are looking for a dynamic and creative Music Teacher to inspire students and foster a lifelong love of music. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive school or college community and lead engaging lessons across a range of musical disciplines. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as Music Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Music to KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable)
Teach a variety of musical skills, including performance, composition, and theory
Direct ensembles, choirs, or school productions, and encourage participation in extra-curricular music activities
Prepare students for examinations, concerts, and other performance opportunities
Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to curriculum development
Ideal Music Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent
Strong subject knowledge in Music, with the ability to teach both practical and theoretical elements
Proficiency in at least one instrument and confidence leading group performances
Excellent classroom management and communication skills as Music Teacher.
