About Stafford Hall:

Stafford Hall caters for children and young people who have autism, severe and complex learning difficulties and who exhibit associated behaviours that challenge.

Our aim is to support children and young people to develop a wide range of skills, such as communication, social and independence skills in an environment that offers warmth, security, consistency and understanding. The children and young people are supported to do this by a range of highly skilled staff that ensure all children and young people experience a broad range of different opportunities, and that every child or young person enjoys their childhood.

We place a great deal of emphasis upon relationships with young people. Recognising that the most important tool we possess in helping our young people to grow, develop, and be a meaningful participant in society - is ourselves.

Who We’re Looking For

This role is all about putting the needs of children and young people first. We’re seeking someone who has:

  • Bucketfuls of empathy – you can step into a young person’s shoes and see the world through their eyes.
  • A caring and supportive nature – you take pride in the difference you make each day.
  • Patience and listening skills – you understand that the little things are often the most important.
  • A passion for helping young people thrive – you believe in their potential and are committed to supporting their journey.

We welcome applications from people with a wide range of backgrounds. Whether you’ve supported others in a professional or personal capacity, what matters most is your compassion, resilience, and commitment to making a real difference.

What Makes This Role Special

  • Every day, you’ll play a vital role in helping young people at a crucial stage of their lives.
  • You’ll be part of a supportive and passionate team who share the same goal: helping young people flourish.
  • You’ll provide encouragement, structure, and positive role modelling to young people with complex needs, both at home and out in the community.

This Role Is for You If You:

  • Put children and young people at the centre of everything you do.
  • Are a calm, caring, and reliable presence.
  • Enjoy listening, supporting, and encouraging others.
  • Are adaptable, proactive, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Believe in teamwork and value the support of a close-knit team.
  • Take pride in your work, being the very best you can be.

What We Offer

  • A rewarding career where you’ll see the impact of your work every day.
  • A competitive salary and clear routes to progress into senior roles.
  • Fully funded qualifications, including Level 3/4 Health & Social Care and a Therapeutic Childcare degree.
  • A salary sacrifice scheme, enhanced annual leave, and access to wellbeing support.
  • A supportive team culture and ongoing on-the-job training
