The Excel Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced key worker to join our team of highly motivated professionals who are working collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels throughout Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be proactive, positive and flexible, a great team player with excellent communication skills and will be responsible for effective intervention mentoring and providing appropriate interventions for underachieving students. They will have experience of working with challenging students to further raise their self-esteem, aspirations and academic performance, either on a one to one or group basis.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
