About this opportunity
In Westmorland and Furness our vision is for every child and young person to have the best start in life, to grow, to thrive and to be prepared for a successful adult life. We have an opportunity for an Information, Support and Advice Officer to join our Family Hub Team supporting our service across the South Lakes area.
You will work in a complex customer service area, undertaking day to day administrative duties for the Family Hubs and being the first point of contact for families and young people offering support and advice and helping them access local services.
Who we are looking for…
The right candidate will have proven experience of providing a high level of service delivery and excellent customer service, as well as experience of working within a large, complex organisation and of planning and prioritising workload. We are looking for candidates with strong communication skills both written, face-to-face and over Teams as well as excellent organisation and attention to detail.
You will need an awareness and understanding of Family Help and Family Hubs and the ability to engage with colleagues and partners at all levels as well as our families and young people.
