About the Role:
We're looking for a professional and vigilant Retail Security Officer to join our team at B&Q. As a visible presence on the shop floor, you'll play a key role in ensuring the safety and security of our customers, staff, and stock.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers.
-Prevent theft, damage, and other illegal activity by monitoring the shop floor and surveillance equipment.
-Act as a deterrent through visible patrols and excellent customer service.
-Assist in conflict resolution and incident response when required.
-Liaise with store management and emergency services when necessary.
-Prepare and maintain security reports.
Working Hours:
-This is a part time role
-You will be required to work Sundays and Saturdays as well mixed around
-Cover Multiple sites such as Wood Green, Leyton, Chingford and Haringey
Requirements:
-Previous security experience preferred (retail security is a plus).
-Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority).
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.
-Reliability and flexibility.
-Ability to use a phone
