Job Purpose
To support children and young people with special needs in leisure activities, encouraging socialisation in a safe, fun and stimulating environment.
Relevant experience is preferred, but a friendly, outgoing manner and a good communicator with a good sense of humour, a sense of fun and a willingness to learn from children, young people and staff or volunteers alike is key.
Full training will be given including shadow shifts before taking responsibility for supporting children or young people.
Hours and Places of Work
This role can be flexible or fixed depending on your individual situation.
- Our core hours of work are between 2.45pm and 5.45pm during term time, with the addition of extra hours 6.15pm to 8.45pm 3 evenings per week. Occasional weekend work (Saturdays or Sundays) also available. During school holidays we run longer sessions of around 6 hours per day.
- We are looking for Team workers who could commit to working at least 6 hours per week on average, and up to 20 hours, although overtime is always available.
- Services run from two locations within the Inverness area

Pay for this role is between £13.00 and £14.00 depending on qualifications and experience.
